On Friday February 29th, one of our grade 8 students, Darryn Hallow received a Yes I Can! award from the Manitoba Council of Exceptional Children at an awards gala at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg.
Darryn received an award in the Arts category for his learning and aptitude in the area on Music for which he has amazing talent. Despite facing some challenges in his life, Darryn has a positive attitude and works collaboratively with all students and staff when it comes to his learning at school. Next year is a big year for Darryn as he transitions to Warren Collegiate, and we will be sad to see him go.
Congrats Darryn!! You make us all so proud!! Way to go!!
