On January 30th and 31st, all of our students had the opportunity to go ice skating at the local outdoor rink!

We were blessed with warm weather, and the ice held up for us thankfully. It was great to see our beginning skaters learn the progressions to become independent on the ice. Our proficient skaters were very helpful when it came to giving advise and encouragement.

Ice Skating is a relatively inexpensive way to stay active during the winter months.  The Woodlands Rec Club maintains the outdoor rink, and we encourage our families to make use of and support this facility.

Thank you to the Woodlands Rec Club for allowing us to use the facility, and for helping us cover the costs of the hot chocolate – which all of our students really enjoyed at the end of their skate 🙂

Thank you to Lillies & Lattes for being so accommodating, and for the tasty hot chocolate!

I sense that winter is not quite over yet so please get out for a skate or two before spring comes.
