On Thursday December 5th we held our 4th annual “Holly Jolly Jog”. This event is the unofficial kick-off of the festive season at Woodlands School. Students and staff are encouraged to come to school in their craziest festive wear and ready for some movement! Some students and staff completed the 3Km loop through town whereas some took a slightly shorter route. The weather and conditions for a brisk winter jog were ideal and the sun kept us warm. When participants got back to the school they warmed up with some hot chocolate, bananas, and bagels. Thank you to Stonewall Family Foods for the generous donation! The event concluded with some prizes for the race winners and best dressed participants.
As part of the event, we are collecting food donations for the local Christmas Cheer Board / Interlake Food Bank. We will be collecting food items right up to the Christmas Concert on December 11th so please contribute if possible.
