Darryn Hallow – Yes I Can! Award

On Friday February 29th, one of our grade 8 students, Darryn Hallow received a Yes I Can! award from the Manitoba Council of Exceptional Children at an awards gala at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg. I Love To Read Month

I Love to Read month is an opportunity in our school to reinforce the importance of, and the inherent joy that comes with reading. Being able to “read to learn” is the ultimate goal of early-years education. As a school we used this month to involve our students in fun and engaging activities that promoted literacy. Skating Day

On January 30th and 31st, all of our students had the opportunity to go ice skating at the local outdoor rink! We were blessed with warm weather, and the ice held up for us thankfully. It was great to see our beginning skaters learn the progressions to become independent on the ice. Our proficient skaters were very helpful when it came to giving advise and encouragement.
